The 2004 New England Patriots are the last legitimate dynasty in the sport.  Winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 yrs and being so good the league changed rules to help teams beat you, the 04 team was both the beginning and end for this era. Yes... The Patriots were a dynasty. But the NFL is the great equalizer. A true cap league, draft picks go to teams with lesser records, your players want to get paid,etc. This was a tremendous group and slowly but surely, many of the stars and familiar names off this team left or retired. The 2004 team was also the best team of the Brady/Belichick era.
