Our test drive of the 2019 Toyota Camry XSE proved the car to be every bit the sporty mid-sized sedan it presents itself to be.  The Camry's new styling just looks great - add extra sportiness with the XSE and it looks downright aggressive!

And with just over 300hp it's hard not to categorize the XSE Camry as a bit of a beast as this trim level gives the normally practical, middle-mannered 4-door an entirely new dimension.

2019 Toyota Camry

Clinton Quan: There is no other mid-sized sedan that offers that much horsepower.

This is definitely, I would say, the best looking Camry they've designed in a long time. And without a doubt the sportiest one.

They haven't had an XSE in other generations, so they stepped it up and added another sport trim.

I got to really experience this car and it's got plenty of power, especially with that 301 horsepower and with those big tires, they grip well to the road.

We are right at the corner of Willow Street and Redondo, and not too far off the 405. Actually, you can see the place from the 405 if you're kinda going slow and traffic, geez, traffic in the 405? Naw, never!

But you can see it. We're really close off the 405. This place is great. It's beautiful. We're really excited to have him on board.

Professor Quan drove the ... Was it the 2019 or 18?

Clinton Quan: It was the 2019.

Tom Smith: 2019 Toyota Camry.

Clinton Quan: XSE, V6, top of the line.

Tom Smith: Say that again because I know you're dying to say it.

Clinton Quan: XSE, V6, which is the top of the line trim for the Camry.

Tom Smith: And it's the 2019?

Clinton Quan: Yes, it's the 2019.

Tom Smith: The Camry has a new body style that is absolutely gorgeous. I love that new body style, was that 2018 that it came out, or was the 17 by chance?

Clinton Quan: I believe that was the 2018, yes.

Tom Smith: Okay so 2018. So this is the second model year of the-

Clinton Quan: Current generation.

Tom Smith: Of the new generation.

Clinton Quan: Yes.

Tom Smith: Do you know what generation that was, in 18?

Clinton Quan: Oh. I-
