2020: Dumpster fire or forest fire?

Listen Later

Dumpster fire (noun):  1. A complete disaster; 2. Something very difficult that nobody wants to deal with.

You've probably heard 2020 referred to as a "dumpster fire" - but was it, really? In this bonus episode, Jamie reframes the trials and tribulations of 2020 as a forest fire instead of a dumpster fire. (This distinction is important.) You'll be left considering how in your own life, the burn of 2020 has yielded - or, is currently yielding - new growth.

The book she references is "The Book of Joy," by Book by 14th Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, and Douglas Abrams.
