On the Texas Rangers Report this is my second video breaking down a potential 2020 MLB draft prospect for the Texas Rangers. This time it was right handed pitcher Cade Cavalli from Oklahoma University. Cavalli is rumored to go anywhere from the middle of the first round to the late second round in June. When I look at Cavalli as a prospect he has four really good pitches being his fastball, curveball, slider, and his changeup. The one thing that is holding Cavalli back from being drafted higher in this years draft is his lack of command on his pitches. If worst came to worst he could be a really effective reliever at the next level with a nasty combo of his fastball, curveball, and slider. If the Texas Rangers were to select Cavalli I would definitely be okay with the selection, even though I view him more as a project player.
