If they do trade him I think the San Diego Padres and the New York Yankees would be good trade candidates for the Texas Rangers. In this video I discuss the Texas Rangers latest moves on hiring two pitching coaches for the big league staff in Doug Mathis and Brendan Sagara. I also discuss the Rangers new catching coach in Bobby Wilson, as he will be taking the spot of previous coach Doug Mathis. Lastly, in the video I talk about the Texas Rangers Gold Glove candidates in IKF and Joey Gallo. Both IKF and Joey Gallo were in the top three in the MLB for defensive runs saved. So we will see if they win their first Gold Gloves on November 3rd, whenever the results come out.

The Rangers claimed Art Warren off of waivers from the Seattle Mariners, and he is now on both the 40-man roster and the active roster. I think this is a solid move for the Texas Rangers especially since they are a rebuilding club. They now have a player that could be an impactful reliver in the bullpen if Art Warren's development plays out in the Rangers favor.

The 2020 MLB Draft is today and in this video I create a mock draft for the Texas Rangers to take a look at potential draft candidates. If you have been following my MLB draft series in depth, none of those prospects are in this video, in order to expose you guys to new names on draft night. The Texas Rangers have five picks in this years draft, as it was shortened from 40 rounds to five rounds, and they roughly have $7 million in bonus pool money to spend on all five draft picks. However, when the draft is over all 30 MLB clubs have the chance to sign as many undrafted free agents as they would like with the only cost being $20,000. I am excited to watch the 2020 MLB Draft to see what the Texas Rangers future as in store.

In this video I go in depth on the recent transaction of the Texas Rangers releasing 37 minor leaguers from the organization. Most MLB teams have been releasing minor league players during the pandemic to save the MLB club money. It might sound like the parent clubs are being cheap skates, but these players would most likely be released on a normal year after Spring Training or the MLB Draft. Stay to the end because there were some releases of former Texas Rangers top prospects, and former MLB players.
