If you think sedan sales are down, 2-door coupes should be on the endangered species list. Fortunately, Mercedes-Benz has a wide variety of 2-doors for people who want the intimacy of a true coupe (not the 4-door kind). The E 450 has received a significant refresh for 2021 and it’s way beyond some sheet metal tweaks. The standard engine is now a turbocharged inline-6 cylinder with EQ Boost (aka a mild hybrid system). This is the engine the E Class deserves.
