Welcome to On The Clock with Rob Pizzola, from now until the NFL draft we will be releasing a mock draft for every team addressing their most significant needs and what teams might do come draft day. Today we are drafting for the Washington Commanders. Rob is joined by Eric Pauly, Washington Commanders superfan and realist, to look at the Washington Commanders and draft a full 7-round mock draft. The Commanders are in a peculiar situation, with the news of Dan Snyder selling the team they seemed to be tied up from all ends. They haven't had the organizational clarity to reshuffle their front office, which in turn has led to Ron Rivera staying in his head coaching role much longer than others expected. On top of that, they haven't been able to land a big fish in free agency like Lamar Jackson as a result of that lack of clarity. The Commanders have many holes to fill and Eric and Rob will be looking into that in this mock draft.
