The Hoke County deputy medic saved an elderly man from house fire in Clay Hill Community. Deputy medic Lee Black of the Hoke County Sheriff's Office heroically rescued an elderly man trapped in a house fire on Doc Brown Road. Lee said he was just doing what he was trained and dedicated to do...save lives.

Since 1986, the Fayetteville Rotary has hosted the annual Walker Family Golf Classic. The tournament originated as the Fayetteville Rotary Club Father-Son-Daughter Golf Championship and was changed in 2015 to a family tournament and "The Walker Classic" in honor of our dear friend and former Club President, Mr. Joe Walker.
