An investigation by a human rights organization shows that the video sharing platform TikTok has allowed false advertisements regarding electoral matters in this country.

In a statement from TikTok regarding the inquiry, it was claimed that the platform's filtering program recognized that the ads violated the company's policies but were later said to have been mistakenly approved by a staff member.
