The University of Galway has confirmed to RTÉ News/TG4 that they have a 5-year confidentiality clause in place with a third party about publicly disclosing any information about the proposed wind farm off the coast of Charna in Connemara.

The company Fuinneamh Sceirde Teo is to make a planning application before the end of August to place 30 wind turbines in the sea near the rocks of Sceirde.
