The Gap Theory teaches that there’s a time gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2, possibly millions of years. Some believe this explains the age of the earth or a previous creation judged by God. However, the Bible doesn’t clearly teach this theory. Many faithful Christians believe the creation account is continuous and complete from verse 1 onward.

Help me to read Scripture with faith, not just curiosity. May I never place human ideas above Your Word. Teach me to worship You as the God of creation, order, and beauty.
