If you are wondering why 2025 doesn't seem to be kicking off with that New Year pep in its step, well you can thank Mars. The planet of motivation, drive, and war is retrograde. You might not be feeling up for a fight, particularly now that Mars has retrograded back into the sensitive, and sometimes passive-aggressive, sign of Cancer. 

This week does host several opportune transits for emotional healing. So allow yourself space to rest and repair. There will be plenty of "newness" up ahead in the coming months. For now, let this slow start be a balm for your weary heart.
