Essential Astrocast

The Taurus full moon has arrived and is illuminating our relationship with power as it squares Pluto, currently out of bounds in Aquarius. If you feel powerful, that will be amplified, if you feel powerless, that will be amplified. Choose your energy wisely. The collective moment of people headed to the vote across the globe feels pretty on point for this Full Moon squaring Pluto in the sign of collective power.

With Venus and Mercury now retrograde it's a time to reflect and listen in, not only to your inner knowing, but what the Universe is whispering. Halloween/Samhain is known as a time when the veil is thin. There are signs all around us, and the retrogrades help us slow down and move deliberately, so that we can pick them up.

Congratulations! You survived eclipse season, well, almost. The pair of eclipses: August 12 and August 28, brought clarity, as well as release. While the first eclipse, a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo conjoined the North Node, it also formed a mystic rectangle giving us a clear view of whatever the Universe wants you to see.

Then the second eclipse, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces formed a T-square with Uranus, inviting decisive change and lots of exits. We saw Dolly Parton and Gloria Steinem leave our planet with this eclipse season, ushering in a new era.

This coming week, on September 10, the New Moon in Virgo officially brings an end to eclipse season and offers you the clear thinking needed to take the right next step.

We're in the muck, but you've always got to excavate the gems out of the dirt, before you can get them shined up. The Full Moon in Aquarius this week had us revisiting the seeds we planted in 2020. At the same time, the Full Moon opened the portal of eclipse season, just as teh Nodes moved into Aquarius and Leo for a new 1.5 year cycle. What is being brought to your awareness now is pushing you to grow and evolve as we enter this new era.

We're in the throes of life-changing, generational shifting astrology. I would not be hyperbolic to say our collective consciousness is being spiritually re-wired at the moment. As the Sun enters Leo on July 22 we're experiencing the perfection of the "basket of hope." A once in humanity type astrological configuration with all of the outer planets in harmonious communication, inviting us to step into this new era defined by Fire and Air energy. Luckily, Mercury stations direct on July 23 after an emotional Cancer retrograde and Venus in Virgo is keeping our feet rooted in Mother Earth.

Mercury is now retrograde in the sign of Cancer. Slow down and have the tissues handy. The energy this week can be volatile with Mars conjunct Uranus in Gemini, but if you are moving slow and mindfully you can use this explosive energy to your benefit. July brings major shifts as Uranus, Pluto, and Neptune form the “Magic Triangle” we've all been waiting for.

This week Venus meets Jupiter in Cancer, one of their favorite signs! Some people consider this the "best astrology of the year." I consider this a time to be aware of what seeds are being planted in the soil of your life. Notice the things that are engaging your attention and energy this week. Once Venus and Jupiter move into Leo in the coming days and weeks you may see a fire of passion lit in the parts of your life that this conjunction has amplified.

The week kicks off with Mars squaring Pluto and you might be witnessing or experiencing a power struggle. As the week goes on Venus squares Saturn asking us to make a commitment. All of that might feel serious and like a drag, but it's really helping us to get clear on what we want and what we're willing to do for it. Paving the way for you to cast a grand vision and take the risk when the Full Moon arrives on Sunday in Sagittarius. This lunation is ruled by Jupiter, exalted in Cancer right now, restoring our faith and giving us the confidence boost we need to go on the adventure.

I'm back and just in time for an angry week thanks to Mars joining forces with 2 asteroids: Eris and Chiron. Luckily you have lots of ways to release those emotions this week as the moon wanes and we prepare for the incoming New Moon in Taurus on Saturday, May 16th. The moon is exalted in Taurus, so this spring time New Moon is always a good one for setting an intention that is tangible and rooted in earthbound reality.
