Welcome to season 2 of 20s Life podcast! We are so happy to be back, discussing the first topic: Comparison, envy and self acceptance in our 20s. The 20s can be a time of low self esteem and high comparison to others, especially with the rise of social media. We discuss our own experiences, our research, and tips and advice for helping reduce the amount of time we spend comparing ourselves to others.

The last episode of the season, ending with a bang… this week we discuss how our relationship with sex has changed over the years. How, as women, sex was never something that was discussed openly and never something we were encouraged to enjoy, the priority was always pleasing the man!! We talk about how different it is now, and we open up about our personal journeys. We want to start this very important conversation, and end with the message that sex should only ever be empowering.

Bea’s personal story about when she lost someone very close to her when she was 23. We discuss the process of grief, dealing with terminal illnesses, and how to get through such a difficult time in your life. This may be triggering, as we talk about the process of dying, brain tumours, and having therapy, but we hope it offers some comfort to anybody else going through it.
