Growing up in the LDS church was difficult for Chris Johnson. Since a young age Chris new he was somewhat different from the other kids, he was attracted to others boys. Confused he turned to his family and his religious upbringing for guidance. There he only found more confusion. Struggling to come to grips with who he really was, Chris decided to marry in the Mormon Church being told that if he did so, his "problem" would disappear. Well, it didn't. After years of being married and pushing down who he really was he found himself depressed and even more confused. Eventually Chris came to accept himself for who he is and decided to come out to his family. Chris shares with us what a difficult and arduous process this was for him. And shares with us that since coming out he has met the love of his life and has never been happier.
