In this episode, I bring on a virtual best friend and former YWAMer Elizabeth Wolfe to process our joined experience at Youth With A Mission, Montana. Elizabeth and I met when we were teenagers on Tumblr and quickly got excited about attending an abroad bible school called Youth With A Mission. During this episode, we talk about some of the problematic experiences we went through together, issues with the larger Organized Church, and what we would tell our younger selves. Please note: This episode contains content about spiritual abuse and manipulation. We are also processing a stream of events that happened in 2013, almost 10 years ago. We are grateful to have a place to talk about these experiences and deconstruct them with each other.
