Barbacoa & Big Red Festival to Span 2 Days in 2020
- With all the situations that happened last year with the Barbacoa & Big Red Festival since it was held in a new location (The Greenline) prior to other years where it was held in a different location.
The festival will now take place over two days, Saturday, May 16th and Sunday May 17th at The Greenline for the 2nd year in a rowThe issues that happened last year were a safety concern to people as they ran out of water throughout the event, there were very long lines with minimal shade, and too many people with health issues and not enough responders or water.- Do you think moving the event to two days will make a difference as far as taking care of these issues?

- The Government Hill restaurant will have all-you-can eat cheese enchiladas from 11AM-8PM every Monday only for the month of January.

Merit Coffee Creates Sombrero-Wearing Baby Yoda Fiesta Medal
- For all your “Mandalorian” fans, Merit Coffee created a sombrero-wearing, coffee sipping Baby Yoda Fiesta medal available for purchase this year!
Justin Frey, manager of Merit Coffee & big Star Wars fan, was inspired to create the medal for the coffee chain after seeing a meme of Baby Yoda sipping on a teacup online “In the past we’ve done something that was just coffee-related but this year I kind of did this one for me,” Frey laughed, “I replaced the teacup with a Merit coffee mug and then added the festive sombrero to pay homage to San Antonio and to Fiesta.”- Do you think this is a good idea for a medal? HEB Named Nation’s Top Grocer in Shopper Survey
- HEB has dethroned Trader Joe’s as the nation’s top grocery retailer, according to a new customer survey
Dunnhumby, a UK-based global consumer research co, on Wednesday released its 3rd annual Retailer Preference Index, which used grocery customer surveys and financial reports to rank the top-performing grocers nationally. For the 1st time, HEB was named the top grocer, surpassing Trader Joe’s, Amazon, and Costco. In previous years, HEB was ranked #4 in each of the previous two years.HEB moved up because of its “sustained focus and excellence on assortment relevance and private band” - Do you agree with this survey yes or no?
