It just had to be sweeps week - there's no other explanation for the pacing of stories the last few weeks.  In this week ALONE, Michael and Kimberly get engaged, crash, reveal their engagement to Jane, and convince Matt to commit his first felony.  

Sydney gets sent on her first date, and accidentally invites Jane to become a prostitute as well.
