With her portraits that deals with contradictions of life, such as fantasy and reality, bad and good, odd and ordinary, Israeli photographer Michal Chelbin, brings to light the stories of forgotten groups in everyday life from prisons to circus with her bold and objective frame. Israeli photographer with her first also recognized monograph published in 2008 “Strangely Familiar: Acrobats, Athletes, and Other Traveling Troupes” and the works exhibited in worldwide acclaimed herself before long in the international photography scene. Moderated by Şevval Yürüten, this episode while focusing on the series entitled ”Sailboats and Swans” which addresses the subject of being locked up, explores the motivations and visions hidden under Michal Chelbin’s photographic stories.

Mária Švarbová challenges the traditional approach to portraiture with her unique, postmodern style. In 2017, she was featured in Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′ list. Her Swimming Pool series brought Švarbová to new levels of success in her career, reflecting the aesthetic connection among people, the environment, and color.
