The VIA Character Strengths framework names twenty-four strengths. And of all of them, Honesty might be the most misunderstood. We are more likely to think of honesty as how we relate to others, but it begins within ourselves first.

Seeing yourself clearly takes courage, because once you see who you truly are, you have to take responsibility for that.
