#21DayChallenge - Day 8 👇 STOP RULE
You know in 1996, eight #mountaineers died while climbing to #MountEverest just because of ignoring the #StopRule !
(The 1996 Mount Everest disaster occurred on 10–11 May 1996 when eight climbers caught in a blizzard died on Mount Everest while attempting to descend from the summit.)

Experienced guide like Rob Hall had a simple rule "if we don't reach the #summit by 2pm, we turn around". It was to avoid climbing in the dark.
This rule was well-established and widely accepted among climbers.
However, that day, several climbers including Hall chose to ignore this rule. They were driven by factors like :
#Overconfidence
#Pressure to reach the summit
#Underestimating the #risks
By violating the simple 2 pm rule, climbers exposed themselves to #unacceptable #risks, ultimately leading to the tragic #outcome.
Just like beginning in any of the processes, knowing when to stop is also #critical. Having a fixed #cut-off point can #simplify your way to achieve goals.
For example, "stop eating once you're full" or "taking no more than one spoon of sugar per day", are simpler rules than a complex diet plan to loose weight.
Pick up one STOP RULE and practice to achieve a greater #self-control in 2025.
All the best !
