Dr. Mona Mubarak

Biography:
Dr Mubarak is a Consultant in Chronic Pain Management and Anaesthesia since 2016. She finished the Anaesthesia/Basic pain training in Ireland in 2014, then she joined the pain fellowship training program in Australia. The fellowship was completed in 2015 in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Concord hospitals in Sydney.
Dr. Mubarak was keen to get specialised training in cancer pain and neuromodulation. She joined another pain fellowship program in Leeds Teaching University Hospitals in 2015/2016.
After getting worldwide experience of pain management in Ireland, Australia, and UK, her enthusiasm extended to the USA where she finished the Fellowship of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP ) in 2017.
Previous NHS Posts:
Dr Mubarak was a full time chronic pain management consultant in Birmingham University and Dorset University Hospitals for the last three years. Prior to that, she was appointed as a substantive chronic pain and Anaesthesia consultant in the Royal National Orthopeadic State of Art hospital in Birmingham, UK.
Dr Mubarak has had private practice privileges in the most prestigious hospitals in UK. This includes The Nuffield , Ramsay Health and the BMI groups.

1- Cancer pain including post surgical pain, chemotherapy and radiotherapy ones.
2- Pelvic pain treatment such as Endometriosis, penile pain and chronic
vulvodynia pain.

4- Opioid management clinics with reduction protocols and conversion to different treatment options such as different patches.
