Dr. Bertrand's interest is relieving pain. To provide pain relief she uses prolotherapy. She has published a paper on using prolotherapy for shoulder pain (PM&R 2016 January 2016). She also uses perineural injections and has invented a cream for topical pain treatment. A randomized controlled study has proven the effectiveness of this cream for pain relief (PM&R November 7, 2015). She has completed a pilot study on using this cream for postherpetic neuralgia: 16 of the 20 people suffering from pain following a bout of shingles, on average five years previously, found relief from this cream. She is conducting a randomized placebo-controlled study using it for painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The study is underway with, currently, 81 of the 90 participants needed. As she has started selling her cream, the principal investigator is Dr. François Louw from Kelowna. Dr. David A. Hanscom is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical correction of complex problems in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. A significant part of his practice was devoted to performing surgery on patients who had undergone multiple prior spine surgeries. Around 2001 he began to share his own stress management tool with his patients that were in pain but had no indications of surgery. He had spent much of his career with rehabilitation physicians learning non-operative care. Dr. Blythe Hollie Cleverly, PhD

Blythe holds a PhD in Holistic Health through the University of Holistic Health in Healing, based out of the USA. She also has her Doctorate in CORE Education/Counselling and training in psychology through the American Society of Alternative Therapists and through Harvard University, both located in Massachusetts.

She has received education in the Maritimes, Montreal, Toronto and New York, alongside doctors and Nurses who taught Therapeutic Touch and Orthomolecular Medicine in hospitals worldwide. She is an Orthomolecular Health Practitioner and Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

She received her RHN designation through CSNN Moncton and ROHP through the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC), a governing board for practitioners worldwide. For six years, She served on the board as the director for Eastern Canada. She further served as the Eastern representative for the Canadian Society for Orthomolecular Medicine (CSOM) and the National Health Products Protection Association (NHPPA).
