Today Sam is flyin' solo. Nonetheless, she has a rant-and-a-half for you this Thursday. The episode starts off with some Bachelor recap.... from Serena's boots, to Queen Victoria's antics, to Bachelor Matt's make-out skills...she gives her opinion on Monday's episode and whether or not Matt is really cut out for this. Sam gets into the topic of appearance based biases when it comes to ones profession, career, and special hobbies/interests. She tells some stories of when her ability to work/perform was questioned due to her style and what she learned from that experience, and also recalls a time when Fran's athleticism was questioned. Sam goes off on a little 'motivational' rant, giving the listeners tips and insights on how to continue pursing what you love no matter what 'group' society tries to push you into. Want to be a model, but you're not 5'7 with a 23 inch waist? No problem! You can still make it happen, the opportunities are endless.... A lot of millennials are trying to figure out their career, their passions, and what they want to do with their life, and Sam drives home the point of... as long as you keep going, and believe in yourself, you will never fail!
