Hello everyone. Welcome to the twenty-second installment of my creative world that I call Resonance Reflection Photography. My name is Marcel Comeau, and I'm a landscape photographer based in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Each week I post my work online for the world to see and enjoy. This week's featured photo was taken out at the Little Qualicum Falls. Located outside of Coombs on highway 4, this water source is a tremendous location to stop and admire. The day that I got there was perfect. The winter season decided to sprinkle it's beauty over the fantastic landscape, giving a thoroughly immersive winter experience that I've personally missed while being on Vancouver Island. Now don't get me wrong, I can live without having to deal with snow for several months, but being so used to having the white, powdery stuff on the ground has been interesting for me since what I've mostly seen this season was green grass and the occasional rainfall. Regardless, I felt ecstatic to have come to this landscape and get the opportunity to capture some of the beauty that the winter season has to offer. One of the highlights out of the cold, frosty season is the sheer silence you get with the snowfall filtering the sound around you. That paired with the river flowing beside me created a workspace that I could have spent all day immersed in. I took the time to capture the waterfall that's nearby, took a walk down alongside the river, and eventually got back to my car, and continued my journey towards my travel adventure.
