Hello everyone. Welcome to the nineteenth installment of my creative world that I call Resonance Reflection Photography. My name is Marcel Comeau, and I'm a landscape photographer based in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Each week I post my work online for the world to see and enjoy. This week's photo was taken out in Sooke in the summertime season. The smell of the ocean has always been a pleasure of mine ever since I was a young boy. The weather was gorgeous there was no wind, no rain, the sun was slowly setting down behind the horizon, and I was left with a small beach to myself. I had spent the day taking photography throughout the south-western regions of the island, so the relaxing atmosphere became a great tone to end my day. My mind slowed down and connected to all that was present in my proximity. I listened to the water softly roll over the shore. The birds would occasionally pass by, chirping and talking to other birds within the area. The soft sand felt great under my feet as I walked towards a tree that was laying down on the rocks. I sat down on the tree trunk and processed the view that spaned in front of me. The mountains across the water were gorgeous with the soft sunset lighting laying over them. Moments like this are precious to me. I make an effort to engage with the present as much as possible. The likelihood of experiencing this exact moment is questionable. Anything can happen to me at any given point. That's a reality that took a good deal of time to comprehend. Our time on this plane of existence is rather short, but there are instances we forget that fact for various reasons associated with our busy lives. Embrace moments as they come, enjoy the experiences that go with them,
and try your best to acknowledge that time is fleeting, and so does the light of consciousness that's embedded within us. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to me, and I hope to hear from you soon. Take care.
