22. Building Body Image Resiliency and Distancing Yourself from Diet Culture with Marina Gearhart

Listen Later

On today's episode, Brittany interviews Marina Gearhart, an Eating Disorder Therapist. These two anti-diet providers discuss the main pillars for being susceptible to an eating disorder, how to build resiliency against diet culture and why it's so hard to distance yourself from it. They also talk about the role social media can play in disordered eating/eating disorders and validate food & body distress even without having a formal diagnosis.
