Is going native always wrong? We discussed what you have to look out for, when you are working on a mission field. There are some things that a particular country has on their culture, that is not biblical and should not be imparted into our character. How can we spot those things? These are some of the perils a missionary has to go through. 

A lot of times it has to do with his conscious but sometimes also a lack of simply experience. Especially veteran missionary can help in some of these areas. This is most certainly not a simple subject, but very necessary if you want to become a successful missionary. 

How many missionaries are just going into a country and basically try to replicate what they've learned back home. The problem with that is, that you attract oftentimes the wrong kind of people. 

The key is to really think outside the box. How can you build relationship where you are? Are there any methods that might work? There are some things we observed in Europe that can help missionaries to get some ideas.

Does the concept of two and two walking together hold up in today's mission fields? We see great benefits of the biblical principals. Most people today are either not taught to do it that way or they simply are to afraid of trying to work together. There needs to be established some rules, that show how two can walk together. 

We talked today that this concept can still be applied today. It's important that you are not isolated, because the mission field a lot of times is rough and two yokefellows can surely bring each other a long way. 

The Bible is our fundament. The most important book which really guides us in all truth and in all of our faith. The saying is, that the Bible is the authority for all matter in faith and practice. That's true but the question is, what is the standard for the world? What does that national believe, once you leave the church or the field? 

We believe the King James Bible is the word of God for the whole world and God made it the standard. God did not make Greek the standard after the Bible was translated into the world's international language. The old koine greek is a dead language. Nobody speaks it anymore. 

Some people would say that the King James Bible is the standard for the English speaking people. What should be done, if the Bible for germans disagrees with the Bible? Is one superior or did God give two standards? That's what we've discussed on today's podcast. 

What is the purpose for this podcast? Two missionaries are living the biblical concept, that two should work together for the great commission that God has given us. This podcast is to help you if you are a missionary on the field. If you are on deputation and want to get ideas, when you are actually starting on the field. Repentance is often misunderstood in the day and age we are living in. In Germany most people have never ever experienced a true repentance. What is the cause for that? Are we preachers today have a tendency in adjusting ourselves to the people or are we really trying to please God? The Waldensians are sadly also a great example in falling away into the temptation of going into the mainstream of Christianity.
