This week, I have my first guest, Caitlin Holmes, on the show! Caitlin is a certified nutrition specialist who works with athletes. I worked with her in 2021 on my nutrition while I was training for my 50k and can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for help with their nutrition.

We actually recorded for so long in our interview that I had to split it up into two podcast episodes. This week in part 1 we go over the basics of nutrition and how it relates to running, focusing on protein, carbs, fats, and total calories.
