In the playwork world play is a set of behaviours that are: freely chosen, personally directed and intrinsically motivated. Join us as we chat to the brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable playworker, author and community organiser Adele Cleaver about the different types of play, trusting ourselves to play, our barriers to play, how we can play more (which we feel we all need living through a pandemic and multiple lockdowns) and how artists can get past themselves and truly play to arrive at a desirable end result - without the focus being on the end result!
