When I think of some of the most successful property managers I know, they’re real go-getters. They set big goals, they volunteer in property management associations, they put in long hours, and they pride themselves on exceeding expectations.
They’re constantly striving for more.
Which, can be a good thing. But more often than not, property managers use their potential against themselves. If we’re not cautious, we can teeter between a growth mindset and a “not enough” mindset.
This not enough mindset can eat at our motivations. It can drive us to work in ways that are detrimental to our health. It can suck the joy right out of this job.
