When you’re on deadline for your book, it can be tempting to do “deadline math” to figure out how many words you need to write each day.

Unfortunately…this process often leaves authors feeling stressed, disempowered, and creatively blocked. It can also create an environment where it’s easy to slip into a hustle/burnout cycle.
