He's a journalist and his new book is titeld Max Hoffman: Million Dollar Middleman that charts the career of Hoffman, a U.S. dealer who represented Jaguar, Porsche, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Fit, Lancia, BMW, and many other European car brands during the decades following WWII. Sometimes the hero, sometimes the villain, Max Hoffman was the unseen puppet master behind many of today's best classics.
