This week I have wished for quite a lot and it seems to be all falling out of the sky for me and landing in my lap.
It all started after New Years where I was up visiting my dear friend Catherine Newton and we talked about our goals and I read my Painted Picture out loud to my entrepreneurial friends, which is a very clear 3 year vision, written in the present tense, of where you want your business and life to be.
As I shared it with them out loud, all of us realized that I was playing it small and that with the results I've achieved in the last year alone I needed to stretch myself more, up my revenue and fundraising goals and amp up my language used throughout my Painted Picture to reflect what I want to achieve in this lifetime.
Below is my current Painted Picture that's been viewed over 35,000 times and that still stands true, but that I'll be updating very soon!
After our discussion and my realization, I read a great article about "8 Things That Self-Made Billionaires Do Differently" and number 6 was about using storytelling to make your vision more compelling; not mission-speak - which was inspired by Steve Jobs.
It's all about setting your big vision and creating your Painted Picture, something I take my Freedom Plan members through as a core part of my program early on.
Without a vision, what do you really have in life? You need your why to inspire you every day, not only you but your tribe, customers and team.
In this Fresh in Fifteen episode, I talk about turning your vision into a detailed story and Painted Picture as well as how you can apply this billionaire success trait to yourself!

I love listening to these inspiring stories of entrepreneurial success these interviewees achieved while traveling the world, having tons of fun and finding their own authentic voice. Gives me courage to publish my story of long term world travel and how it all started - more than 6 years ago. I'm glad I stumbled upon Natalie's podcast because she creates a global and virtual community - and that's what world travelers need.
