John Cooley always wanted to make a film, but never had time, opportunity or resources. Convergence is a fantasy story with people of color in prominent roles engaging in amazing activities. The script doesn't conform to Eurocentric ideologies or conventions like those previously seen in The Lord of the Rings movies or Game of Thrones TV series. John Cooley and his team are dedicated to presenting mythical creatures like elves, dragons, and werewolves in ways not yet witnessed in film. They're also dedicated to using practical special effects more than CGI for greater realism. John joins Henry to talk about bringing Convergence to life.
