23: Consumption ready content | with Atif Ikram & Ali Rizvi

Listen Later

Today I speak with Atif Ikram & Ali Rizvi, the founders of Simplitaught a learning experience platform, or ecosystem that aligns the way we teach content to the learning style of the individual.

Atif is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Arizona State University and has an impressive pedigree in Higher Education. He holds a PhD in Finance and a Masters Degree in economics both from ASU and he completed his undergraduate at Lahore University of Management Sciences. Ali is no slouch either having held senior roles in several technology companies, he's an entrepreneur and seasoned business professional, educated at Marshall University.

Together they're a formidable combination and their skills and expertise are perfectly suited to solving the challenge they've their eyes set on. We explore:

  • The problem with a one size fits all approach to learning
  • Complimenting learning and teaching styles
  • Curation versus volume of content
  • The use of ML and AI in personalising the learning experience
  • The value of Simplitaught instead of somewhat similar alternatives like Youtube, Google search etc.
  • Catering for the needs of mentally exhausted students, and
  • What it means to have a central repository for curated and supplemental instruction.
  • Atif and Ali are awesome to chat with and I have great respect for the magnitude of their project. I watch developments with keen interest from the side-lines. Find out more about Simplitaught by visiting http://www.simplitaught.com and I'd encourage you to connect with both Atif and Ali on their social channels. With that, I bring you Atif Ikram and Ali Rizvi.
