Caroline Smith graduated cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Publishing and Printing Arts. As an award-winning executive editor and author coach, Caroline has had the honor of bringing over 300 books to life through publication. Her favorite genre to read, write, and edit is romance, with fantasy, true crime, and biographies in a three-way tie for second place. In 2014 she won an IPBA Gold Ben Franklin Award in collaboration with one of her authors for editorial and design. To better assist her authors all over the world, she developed a podcast called “Inspiration to Publication.” She is a member of Exceptional Women in Publishing, National Federation of Press Women, and the International
Association of Professional Writers and Editors. When she’s not writing or editing, she can be found teaching workshops and classes on a range of topics from writing and publishing to meditation and natural wellness while also getting her masters in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. Caroline is the author of Perspective Parenting: A Guide for the Modern
Single Mom and Writing as Meditation: Building Your Book with Attention and Intention (Fall 2020). She currently resides in the mountains of North Georgia with her three wild children, three goats, six bunnies, two dogs, and a cat.
