Kate is the Owner and Operator of Free State Kitchen, a restaurant in Liverpool City Centre which specialises in fantastic burgers, beers and cocktails. 

Kate and her husband, Gary, opened the business eight years ago and have since played a big part in introducing 'burger culture' to Liverpool and the region. 

During the podcast, Kate talks to us about her journey so far, some of the successes, challenges and stories which have brought her to where she is now. We also spoke about the hospitality scene in Liverpool right now and some of the developments and trends which are affecting the hospitality community
