This was the perfect scenario to bring on longtime friend of the podcast Rob Simmons, Jeff's creative collaborator, fellow filmmaker and adopter of the van lifestyle. Rob has a unique and certainly appropriate perspective to bring to the discussion concerning transience on film. Who did it better? Well, Chloé Zhao did it more realistically while Sean Penn adopted a much more romantic view, that much is for sure. As per usual here on Hard Ticket, it all comes down to a matter of preference.
