Transcript of Cami's Commentary:

I've been home for over two days, and WordCamp remains fresh in my mind. The experience was surreal; reuniting with friends I only see during these events is always special. However, this WordCamp was unique. For the first time, I found myself torn between the demands of my job and the allure of the conference.

There were moments when I felt a pang of longing for home. The mental gymnastics of switching between my responsibilities as a service provider and just enjoying WordCamp was daunting. At times, the impending backlog of emails and requests loomed over me, casting a shadow over my WordCamp experience.

But then, clarity struck. My clients take breaks, so why shouldn't I? While WordCamp isn’t a beach getaway, it’s a cherished annual reunion, reminiscent of a high school gathering, but infinitely more rewarding.

As a business owner, it's not just about having the right to attend WordCamp; it's about deserving time off. Whether you’re a solo entrepreneur or part of a compact team, it's vital to recharge, pursue passions, and remember: we all need a breather. For me, that's WordCamp.

Lastly, a huge shout-out to GoDaddy. Attending WordCamp 2018 as their inaugural GoDaddy Pro ambassador was a turning point for me. While that chapter has ended, my gratitude for GoDaddy remains endless. Their invitation ignited my enduring passion for WordCamps, and for that, I'm eternally grateful.
