Peter Kawa is an award-winning actor, director, producer and artist manager whose years and chops in acting have seen him lead or be part of impressive ensembles on TV, theatre and film. He has acted beside African greats such as Nigeria’s Rita Dominic and most recently been part of the cast of South Korea’s 2021 blockbuster ‘Escape From Mogadishu’. He has also featured in numerous Kenyan TV shows with roles on shows such as Sumu La Penzi, ‘FIHI’ (for which he won the Best Actor Riverwood Awards 2018), Lies The Bind, Real Househelps of Kawangware and so many more. As a director, besides having won Best Director 2019 for his feature film ‘Lost in Time’, he has also been behind numerous short films under FilmLab Kenya and his latest directing project is ‘Christmas Love’ that stars Abel Mutua, Robert Burale, Grace Ekirapa and introduces ‘Neema Kawa’ to our screens. He is the CEO of Spearhead Entertainment and the brains behind the arts roundtable talk show - Sanaa Talks and later ‘Sanaa Post’ - an online art platform. The artist manager with brands such as Azziad Nasenya under his guidance is also a mentor and even closer to heart; a husband and a father.
