Chandra qualified with a Medical Laboratory Science degree in Western Australia, pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in Haematology, and has a Diploma in Business from Auckland University.

Chandra has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years and was appointed CEO of Pharmaco in 2013 and became the Managing Director in 2017.
