With over 300 stories in his backpack mixing and matching them to be relevant to his corporate audience, professional keynote speaker and storyteller Scott McArthur was forced by the pandemic to turn his hand to refocus. As the archaeologist of his own life, switching to broadcasting and music, Scott now continues to focus on the most important number in life - 28000 - the average number of days someone lives. ABOUT SCOTT MCARTHUR

From a poor working-class fishing and naval background, Scott McArthur's early nomadic years were spent travelling for his father's job until they settled in Scotland. Scott ended up at university and became a research scientist.

Money remained a problem and Scott lived in a squat for many years. Eventually, forced to leave, he went into the corporate world and ended up having a 15-year career in HR. Scott then fell into big consulting which changed everything working with organisations around the globe and on two Olympic games, discovering he could tell stories and speak.

Scott formed his own business with partner Samantha 10 years ago – initially consulting but three years ago took the step to become a professional storyteller – mainly on the corporate stage. He loved it, then along came COVID and has since refocused on film production and broadcasting.
