Dreams of Consciousness Podcast Episode 234 features an interview with Paul "Decaylust" Lang of Denouncement Pyre.

Denouncement Pyre is the sound of burning dedication. Emerging from Melbourne as a number of more prominent bands had broken up or moved overseas, the band endured a shifting roster to emerge as one of the fiercest bands in Australia's metal underground.

I spoke with Denouncement Pyre founder/vocalist/guitarist Paul "Decaylust" Lang about how his band fits into the Australian death/black/war metal sound, and why it was always more than just a hobby for him. We also spoke about how a new line-up and more collaborative songwriting process shaped their latest album Forever Burning, and what the band has left to accomplish.
