There were at least three major places where I let others muzzle my voice. I take 100% responsibility because I was a willing participant, and I signed off on it, whether I knew it or not. In retrospect I figured it out. Those different places where my voice really didn’t matter too much, majorly it didn’t matter, were the Air Force, the church, corporate America, and when I became a teacher, so in education. The reason for my silence was because I simply did not believe who God told me I was, so I didn’t speak up. I did speak in other instances in all of those places, but I did not speak enough, that I eventually lost out in so many ways. But because I’m here telling you about it, did I really lose out?
