After briefly touching on some of Hegseth’s own problematic history of critiquing Donald Trump, Sam and Emma parse through the background on Stephen Feinberg – billionaire investor, hedge fund manager, and Trump’s pick for Deputy Defence Secretary – and his myriad conflicts of interest when it comes to the world of military contracts, also touching on the GOP’s slim Congressional majority and the major fights it sets up for 2025.
