Take a bite: For episode 24, Editor-in-chief of Esquire Singapore, Norman Tan, and podcast hosts Debra Langley and Anita Kapoor come together to discuss the topic of the day, 'Coming Home'—why Singaporeans leave and their motives to return to their home country—with dynamic father and son duo, Calvin Soh, Founder of One Kind House, and Dylan Soh, Calvin's son, who was the opening speaker at a recent TED X Singapore Talks. Dylan is also an active member of One Kind House and is currently studying in Finland.

For this episode, Calvin Soh starts by discussing One Kind House—an initiative that brings together his family and friends through urban farming and cooking classes. He is joined by his 16-year-old Son, Dylan Soh, who currently on exchange in Finland.

The podcasters discussed why people decided to leave Singapore and also, if they return, why they decide to come back. How has the experience abroad changed them? Where do they see their future?

Calvin shares his experience in moving to the USA and launching a successful career in advertising for several years before making the decision to relocate back to Singapore, and how his decision to do so has influenced has impacted Dylan.

As a corollary, Dylan discusses his study experience abroad and how he has changed compared to friends who have stayed in Singapore.
