This podcast is about my new announcement about 24 Hour Teaching. It is about why we went from a 'cut down your own tree' to a 'fake tree'. Lastly, it's about traditions. My favorite ones in the classroom, but also the traditions I love to continue with my family. Snuggle up to warm cup of coffee, or enjoy the heat blasting your face in the car, and enjoy what I need to make the Christmas holiday merry.
I recently moved closer to my job, and my husbands job also. We upgraded our home in size, which was much needed for our sanity. Our hard work, and a little luck, have made us a very happy family. The process was not easy, and at times stressful and overwhelming. I am going to share my “moving” story, but also share some very important tips on how you can move with kids.
Gretchen strives to create a bridge between the community and those with special needs. She is an inspiration to me, and should be a reminder to all of us that life has its blessings and challenges. Today, we are going to learn about Gretchen's son, Danny, and how he has changed her life, and those around him, for the better.
Two powerful women come together to share their amazing mother/teacher stories. They give advice, bring you into their personal life, and provide the ups and downs involved in quitting their job in order to be stay at home moms. But then, what the trial and tribulations are when returning to work. The TRUE life of 24 hour teaching, and how to accept your excellence. Listen to Anne, and Wendy to know how you can prepare to make this move, if you are considering it. SOOOOO Amazing.
Many of us need to know we are not alone! We are not alone when we are tired of motherhood, being a wife, being a friend, being a teacher. It doesn't mean we love less, we just need to share ways we can avoid or defeat the dreaded burnout life.
Welcome to my very first podcast. You will learn about how & why I decided to create a podcast in the first place, my story, goals, and motivation to being happy. I am a fourth grade teacher in a town outside of Milwaukee, WI. I work for a school that I am SO proud to be part of. I am also making ZERO money for the best job in the world, being a mother!
