He is 41 years old, has an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s in Engineering.    With three generations of his family currently residing in Fremont and as the leader of a local tech company, he understands the needs of seniors, the youngest citizens, and businesses. Fremont faces critical challenges: The proposed budget addresses revenue shortfall, sales tax revenue decline, economic slowdown and city is dealing with persistent crime, homelessness, unemployment & aging infrastructure. Per National Criminal Justice association over the last 10 years, 576 public officials in California have been convicted of federal corruption charges. Residents demand clean governance from politicians, preventing incidents like the former Fremont City Manager's fraud. Fremont also mourns the tragic loss of Police Captain Bobbitt. It’s time to Elevate Fremont. Hence Rohan has stepped up and chosen to run for public service. He wishes to inspire more youngsters to join public service and drive positive change.   Rohan brings a wealth of experience from living in cities across the globe. He has partnered with industry leaders on smart city infrastructure, urban development and technological innovation. His prior experience partnering with state economic teams to attract investments, train residents and create jobs will boost revenue, addressing crime and homelessness.
