Often times the greatest opposition to God doesn’t lie in poison, but rather in pleasure. Comfort and pleasure are two powerful driving forces in many of our lives.  But have you ever considered that they may be the very forces keeping you from growing in your faith?

The average person lives 27,375 days. Each morning we wake up and one of the first things we do is make a decision about what we are going to trade that day of life for. Have you ever stopped and asked, “Is this a good trade?” This week we are going to consider that question as we seek to live the best lives we can.

For most of us idolatry is an issue. Sin is usually what we focus on, but it’s just the fruit. Idolatry is always the tree from which sin grows. Behind every sin struggle that we have is a false god that is winning the war in our lives.

Fear can keep us from doing what God may want us to do. When we have fear we start to think and dwell on the worst possibilities. Fear is something that we all face, and if we are not careful we can become controlled by it. This week we will look at how to steer away from the fear in our lives.

We take so many risks in our lives. Whether it's riding a motorcycle, changing jobs, or even sky diving. When was the last time you took a risk for God? This week we will see how one man willing to take one risk had a huge impact on the world.

When Jesus is seen and heard He is rarely ignored. But how can people know Him if they aren't introduced? Who is God calling you to invite to Jesus and what is your next step in this process?
