A Statement from Suzanne:

"I started to write this poem in 2020 as a way of encouraging people who were struggling to get through a project and facing criticism from people who didn't understand what they were trying to do. It can be hard holding enough self-belief to get through a project, especially if it is a solo venture as with writers and many artists. But I have seen how hard it is for people to live with "what could have been" instead of giving it their all. So this poem is a reminder of why some people may not be fully behind you and to focus on what is truly important."
